Helping Daddy!

Although Finley's birthday is still about a month away, she has already received one of her gifts from Mommy and Daddy. Daddy built her a sandbox last weekend and she has already spent hours filling her diaper with sand, I mean playing in it. She loves to dig for buried treasure and steal your shovel. She is also good at commanding whoever is outside with her to "Sit Down" and enjoy the fun. I have not taken pictures since we filled it up but here is Finn helping to build it.

Child Labor Anyone?

I have discovered the reason to have children....I will never have to clean again. I love me some cheap child labor. All it costs me for a super clean bathroom is a pack of fruit snacks and the promise of Pooh Bear movie when it sparkles. Anyone want to hire out a hardworking almost 2 year old?

Just a Swingin'

Finley has discovered a new fave place to hang out, literally. I left the room to put Chloe to bed and when I returned she was swinging in the baby swing complete with feet dragging on the ground. She is a funny girl and I am still not sure how she got into it without falling.

The Difference in Mommy and Daddy!

As you will see from the above pictures, the results of Mommy and Daddy photo sessions. I get tops of heads and crazy faces, he gets pretty smiles and two girls looking at the camera. Not Fair!

Hiding Places?

I caught Finn hiding yesterday. I am not really sure she understood I could still see her but, oh well, the game was over quickly. Hopefully the next time we play she will make it more of a challenge.

Baby Powder + Finley = HUGE MESS!!!

Apparently, even with five adults in the house kids can still get into mischief. Early Saturday morning, Finley went into her room and found an open container of baby powder. She proceeded to throw herself a powder party in the hallway. Even after we stopped laughing and cleaned Finn and the mess up, she would walk down the hall saying, "Oh No". She knew it wasn't right, but I would have given anything to catch her in the act.

Easter Fun!!!

Egg dyeing and bunny gifts, need I really say more?

Chloe's Half Birthday

On April 5, Chloe hit the ripe old age of 6 months. Following a Scott Family tradition, she had a small party where she got a 1/2 birthday cake. Most people call them cupcakes. She decided after a few bites that she not only thought it was really tasty but better than anything made by Gerber's. She also sampled her first cracker and even though I did not believe she would know what to do with it, she gobbled it up as well. Bye Bye baby food?

Rattlesnake Rodeo and Easter Weekend

We had a wonderfully busy but cold weekend. Late Friday night, Granna, Granddaddy, and TeeTee (April for those unfamiliar with Finn speak) arrived to spend the weekend with us. They brought Haley, Reesee's sister and lots of treats to help the Easter Bunny fill a couple baskets. We spent Saturday morning at the Rattlesnake Rodeo and Finley enjoyed everything including 2 rides on a barrel train. She also sampled some very healthy fair food like nachos and cotton candy. Which if you look closely, can see on her face in the above picture. We did not end up sampling the rattlesnake meat. The line was too long!!!

Reesee and Haley

Reesee got a much needed play date with her sister Haley this past weekend. The dogs wrestled and sniffed for two straight days. They had so much fun and probably would have slept together in one crate had we let them. Reesee was very sad to see Haley go and hopefully we can get them together again soon.
