Post 200--How appropriate!

It may seem silly but I like the milestone post numbers like 50, 100, 200, to be very special ones. Ones that are full of big news or really exciting events. This important post is no different.

FINLEY IS 3!!!!!!

I hope she enjoys the rest of her very special day and look for party pictures this weekend. It should be great fun!

FFF- One and only one!

I know I am a day early but when I took this picture I knew it was "the one". This is Chloe's first powdered donut experience. She put most of it in her mouth and then had trouble swallowing it. She got it down without choking and we all got a laugh. You can see more FFF pictures here starting tomorrow!

Dog Days of Summer Already?

Just ask Hayley and Reesee if the weather is too hot for playing together. Not two minutes after they were let out to play they flopped onto the ground to rest. Lazy lazy!

What happened to all their books?

Since bedtime I have heard little feet moving around in a certain room inhabited by two little girls who should be sleeping. I was not overly concerned as it takes awhile for them to settle down and doze off. That and the fact Chloe is still jailed, I mean safely ensconced, in a crib. I was surprised though when I heard crying at 9:15. Not a good sign. I opened the door and saw Finn



who claimed Chloe woke her up. Then I saw this:


Where are all their books? They were not littering the floor or suddenly evaporated by aliens who lost their library cards. The girls were not so emaciated they had to eat them. So what gives? Where oh where could those crazy books be? Let's look and see. There they are, right where Finn so thoughtfully laid them.





After I took the pictures and quit laughing, I helped return the books to their rightful home and bid the girls another round of good nights. Hopefully they go to sleep before they decide to unhang all their clothes.

Bug watching 101

Finn is fascinated and terrified of bugs. She enjoys watching them from a safe distance but if they move or make a sound, she is outta there. If you look closely, you will notice the bug pictured above is outside of the house so that makes it okay. I think she may have innate fear of creepy crawly critters just like her mama. Thank goodness we have a big strong man around to squish the offenders as needed. And when he is at work, we are very thankful to have large cans of Raid.

This was Chloe before church yesterday. She was in such a good mood and this is one of my most favorite dresses. So I had to have a few pictures of her. I believe they were worth being a couple minutes late for church, don't you?

Well I had big plans to spend Thursday and Friday taking wonderful pictures of my girls outside enjoying the weather. We got rain and lots of it. So I decided just to share two random pics of the faces I love so very much!
