Finn is growing up so fast. She is cutting her own sandwich into squares here. The next thing you know she will be cooking a 3 course meal.

Being Outside is Electric
Not only does it improve moods for everyone, it makes our hair stand up tall.

This is another game I invented last week that has been a huge hit. It's called scary monster. The girls would hide in their house, I would stick head in the window, say "Raaaawwwrrr" and they would scream in terror. Sometimes to mix it up, I would bang on the roof like I was coming in to eat them all up. It was so much fun, they started playing it by themselves.

More Stuff
In a half-hearted attempt to catch up, here you go. I haven't been able to do much on our computer lately because of crashes and the threat of more crashes. But for now, it is working so I will make hay post while the sun shines.

Chloe and her doll catching some zzzzzzzzzzzz's

More outside shots full of sisterly love. The game they love to play is one they invented back in the fall. One girl bounces like crazy on the ball and the other runs around them in a circle. They think it's hilarious and I think it is a wonderful way to burn off excess energy. This is especially true when you have been cooped up inside for several days due to cold weather.

some more Chloe pictures since the collage posted previously was all Finn

Coming to a close (and other stuff).....
As we approach the three year anniversary of when I started this blog, I have decided to stop using it. I have thoroughly enjoyed documenting the girls first few years here but it just isn't home anymore. As you all know, it isn't just Finley and Chloe's world anymore. So I have decided to move to a blog that tells the tales of all three of my kids. So for the next however long I blog, I will be at http://managingthemonkeys.blogspot.com/ . Don't rush over there as I haven't posted yet and will stay here until Jan. 27, 2010. At that point, this one will be closed down.
Oh and don't get too excited that new blog=tons of new posts because we are also suffering the demise of our desktop computer. I am on borrowed time and borrowed laptop to do this post. Hopefully, very soon, we can either resurrect our computer or get a new one of some kind. With the crash, I am just counting my blessings that none of my pictures were lost. I have tons of kid cuteness to share including a few shots from my 6 week session with Hutch. I am going to try and add them to this post soon.
Oh and the storyboard was so easy Erica. I followed the directions here to do it. I wasn't 100% pleased with the size and picture placement but hopefully with a little more playing I can get it down. In fact, maybe I should do that now.

Hodge Podge
This week so far has been fun. Except for the fact Chloe is still coughing and now Hutch is benefiting from the sisterly love. Yep, he has his first cold thanks to Chloe. I love how they share. It won't be his last but thankfully I have extra hands around to help me. Jeremy has taken this week off and is doing a few things around the house. It is very very cold here and we have been stuck inside playing board games and drawing pictures. Finn did these today and I just had to share.

The "wettin'" (wedding) of me and my prince: We are standing in front of our castle and I have the purple 'do. The red dots on the left are confetti and the ones on the right are roses. Next to Jeremy, whose hair is wild and quite red, is a pogo stick. I really can't make these things up, that is how she described it.

This one is me and April. April is on the left and smiling although it's hard to see since her mouth is yellow. I am on the right and crying because April wouldn't allow me to go down the water slide. Probably because it would ruin my pretty polky-dottie skirt.

Funny Hutch Faces!

Chloe loves her up and down shoes so much that she wears them all the time. She loves to pretend to be a grown-up and take care of her babies. Jeremy caught her sitting like this yesterday and snapped a few pictures. Side note: We did not leave the house at all so her hair is not styled and yes she dressed herself.
