Woof Woof wa wa WOOF!!!!

Translation of the title is I love Hayley in Reesee-ese. Reesee discovered her new birthday ball last night and found it quite enjoyable. She tossed, pounced, squeezed, and chased it all around the living room. She asked me to send these pictures to Hayley's human aka TeeTee who actually used her green paper to buy the toy (although Hayley used her excellent bargain shopping skills to find it in the first place). So without further ado Reesee enjoys her ball and sends a big ole smooch to Hayley!

I could have saved some money

by just buying Chloe boxes of Kleenex. I was fixing a toy Santa had put together improperly while the girls played in the living room with all their loot. When I got done, I found Chloe "coughing" into some Klennexes. In the video that is really a pile of tissue next to her and most of a brand new box was emptied. When I cut the camera off, Finn discovered the fun and lots of pale green tissue flew around the room.

I know I am not the only person in the world who feels like finding time to do certain things, like blog updating, is hard to come by. Between feeding, clothing, cleaning, entertaining, teaching, disciplining, enlightening, and all that other stuff I do, I just haven't had time. Since I am in the process of cleaning off the camera to have plenty of space to capture those all too important Santa shots, here you go.

Finn (with her hand raised palm out): Mommy, you need to just chill.

Another fave of Finn's now is to respond with a very sincere "Me?" when told to do something. Like I could be talking to that other Finley I keep in my pocket.

Chloe hasn't really said anything funny lately, heck, Chloe hasn't really said anything other than "unhhhhh" in weeks.

Could a girl with a stick straight baby fine tangly mess of hair really give birth to two girls with curls? I captured the above pics yesterday and by golly, I think Chloe's hair might have the same curl as Finn's. Hooray for crazy genetics!!!

Pavement 1, Chloe 0

Chloe took a spill outside of a eating establishment tonight and this was the result. Trying to keep her from falling, Granddaddy Scott also fell. His bump actually looked worse, I guess it is a good thing Chloe is so close to the ground. Here is hoping they both awaken in the morning headache free.

Saturday afternoon we all worked together to make these complicated, yet delectable treats. See if you can tell which ones Finn made all by herself. I will not give any hints, not a single one.

Christmas Cards are Heavy!

Apparently, within the confines of our house Christmas cards become so heavy normal magnets cannot attach them to the fridge. The magnets must band together and strain and groan as they try with all their might to keep the cards from crashing to the floor. I am not sure why this only affects our Christmas cards but I am going to have to go buy more magnets. Or I could just quit letting Finn be responsible for hanging them on the fridge.

Chloe Can

Stack five blocks into a tower.

When asked to bring Mommy her shoes, bring me a matching pair (not always the ones I want to wear though).

Say no words that are distinguishable other than an occasional Mama, Dada, or mmmm-bop.

Give the best hugs and kisses for a 1 year old, complete with kissy noises.
