We had an enjoyable trip to visit Granna, Granddaddy, and TeeTee April last week. The car ride was long, the dog got sick and Finn did not nap. One would think a almost 2-yr-old traveling at nap time with a dose of Dramamine would sack out for 3 hours at least. No such luck. She stayed up but quiet and watched movies the whole way. While in Athens we saw some family, played a lot, and had lots of yummy food to eat (Chick fil A, Papa Johns, Granddaddy's home cooking). We saw ducks and had ice cream. Most of all though, we filled Granddaddy's days with fun and laughter. Retired people need rambunctious toddlers to keep them busy. Hopefully we will get back up there soon to see all the people we missed this time around.
