All over the place

OK before I get to the reason why you are all here I have some random thoughts swirling around in my head. First off, I have been thinking of taking the girls to a nearby ToysRUs for an event tomorrow. It is the launch of a new line of toys based on the PBS show Super Why. There are 4 main toys: Super Why, Alpha Pig, Wonder Red, and Princess Presto. You can see them here if you choose to. I was disappointed though that the boy characters are action figures and the girl ones are style and pose dolls. Why can they not all be action figures? Second thought, and I am sure this will thrill Jeremy to no end, is hip hip hooray that Destin finally got a Gymboree outlet. Now I can get my Gymbo fix at a store with great sale racks and the outlet for all those terrific bargains. Anybody up for a road trip?

We spent yesterday afternoon outside. From about 4pm on, our driveway is fairly shaded which lends itself perfectly to a get dirty with chalk session. Or covered in bubbles. Or drenched by the frinkalers. You get the idea. But yesterday was chalk paint. Finn got 2 sets of 3D chalk for her birthday (it does kinda work) and one set had a bottle of paint but only one brush. Not smart Crayola, you always put 2 brushes in the box. Anyway, I stretched a blanket under a tree, and supervised the mess making. After a while I got bored and started taking pictures.
