A weekend or so ago, we went to Tuscaloosa for Alabama's Homecoming festivities. There were special outfits which you couldn't always see because it was cold. Much colder than the place we left but somehow we survived. We arrived on campus well before the start of the parade which was the main thing the girls wanted to see. To get a good spot to see it, you have to be early but it also means you have to entertain 2 squirrely kids in the cold for a really long time.

When all other entertaining methods failed we turned to nature. Finley is playing with her "thumb hat" which is just the top of an acorn and Chloe has a stick. I don't remember exactly the conversation going on at this point but the pictures make me laugh.
